Turf Isuues at Wright Field today resulted in Tournament Schedule changes to the Men’s games.

The following games are now scheduled for the men:
July 18th-6:30pm Trinidad&Tobago v Chile
July 19th-6:00pm Canada v Trinidad&Tobago
July 20th-6:30pm Chile v Trinidad&Tobago
July 21st-2:00pm Canada v Chile

Field Hockey Canada is pleased to announce the 4 Nation Classic being held July 15th – 24th in Vancouver, British Columbia. The competition pool will include the Canadian National Senior Men’s & Women’s Teams and teams from Chile, Trinidad & Tobago and Japan. A Development Women’s team “Canada A” will also compete.

Games begin on July 15th at 2:00 pm at UBC’s Wright Field in Vancouver, BC and conclude at the Women’s Final Game at 4:00 pm on July 24th. The 4 Nation Classic provides fans an opportunity see their National Teams in action, and serves as a good simulation to prepare teams for the upcoming Pan American Games in October. The Games in Guadalajara will be the first opportunity to quality for the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

After the tournament, the Japanese Women’s National Team will remain in Canada for an additional three matches against Team Canada.
